The Wellcome Trust’s recently published annual review highlights some of the excellent research they support that has far-reaching impacts for people living around the world.

This includes the international review into antimcrobial resistance, the recently launched Developing Excellence in Leadership, Training and Science (DELTAS) Africa Initiative, and their work on Malaria and Ebola.

The Wellcome Trust recently announced that its investment in fighting the Ebola epidemic had exceeded £10 million.

Many of their Ebola research projects, including activities funded through the Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises programme, can be seen on our Ebola Research Database.
