Adrian joined UKCDR in July 2017, as a Research & Policy Officer. He works to support member organisations and key stakeholders by providing research and policy advice, leading UKCDR’s work on disasters resilience and data analysis.
He is experienced in research, project management, and administration from the international development sector. Adrian holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex, and an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
As a researcher, Adrian worked on projects to develop models to finance the higher education of women and adolescent girls in Thailand and Cambodia, and to promote the rights of women and girls in Guatemala. Following on from this, Adrian worked at a London-based international NGO, managing a variety of sustainable development projects across Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal, while also managing the Dhaka field office from afar.
