Emma joined UKCDR in March 2020 working jointly with the Department for International Development. She is leading a project to align data on ODA research and innovation activities across UK funders, supporting better analyses of the UK-funded development research landscape.
Previously, Emma worked as a data scientist at Public Health England where she supported the production of Population Health statistics and led analysis evaluating delivery of the national NHS Health Check programme. Formerly part of the Civil Service Fast Stream, Emma has had operational research roles in the Home Office and Food Standards Agency.
She has several years’ experience in data analysis and statistics in the Civil Service and has worked in the private sector in France for multinational supermarket Carrefour. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Surrey.
